The website cannot display the page…

My site functions beautifully if I’m logged into WP but if I’m not logged in then I get the error message in the above title which also says, “Most likely causes:
?The website is under maintenance.
?The website has a programming error.”

I see the effects of the redirect from my root directory to my home page so I know the site is up.

I changed the url of my home page a few weeks ago in a effort to improve SEO and that’s when the trouble started.

Anyone have an idea?
