The web page page doesn’t have Optimize plugin for the container ID
-
I have been trying hard to get optimize to work on my site through sitekit. I am connecting everything on sitekit settings, and everything seems to be OK. (green check marks). I see my analytics property ID, and I see my Optimize Container ID. both are correct. however, once I create an experience and go to Optimize installation (in the experience page) I receive the following errors: Optimize plugin not found – The web page page doesn’t have Optimize plugin for the container ID (GTM-<MYCODE>) installed. while this is the code that shows up in the settings.
the other error is showing: Analytics pageview not detected
This page isn’t sending pageview hits to Google Analytics property (UA-<MY ID>) configured for this experiment. while this is my analytics property ID in the settings.
I have a suspecion that it has to do with multiple google accounts. here is why: on the top right corner of sitekit it is showing a specific email address. I made sure that I am using the same email login to all services. that being said, once I click on any of the links from sitekit to go to the full service, it takes me to one of my other accounts. I couldn’t find a way around it.
I would really appreciate if you can help me untangle this mess, so I can start using it.
thanks!
