Great Directory Plugin/themes AND EXCEPTIONAL Support

I just want to add to my review that I needed some help with a few issues and the support team from the Directorist has been exceptional. They got back to me quickly and even helped fix some of the settings I had wrong that prevented the plugin from working correctly. I was actually really surprised with the amount of time and effort they put into the support tickets.

I tried and/or researched all of the top-rated plug-ins including HivePress, Business Directory Plugin, Connections Business Directory, Directories Pro, GeoDirectory and Formidable Forms. I am not going to bash any of them as each has good aspects and features; but in the end after a lot of research and testing, I found that the Directorist was superior for our project for the following reasons:

1. Ease of use – I am a non-programmer and can’t even do HTML or CSS, yet the Directorist is VERY easy to understand. The layout is quite intuitive and I was able to figure almost everything out as needed. When I couldn’t figure it out I found the documentation to be very thorough.
2. Features – hands down, the Directorist has the greatest depth. We needed multiple directories, chat capability, ability to list business hours, wanted Facebook/Google registration, FAQs, Google ReCAPTCHA, a booking system for meetings, ability to have reviews, bookmarking/favoriting etc…
3. Affordability – again, the Directorist came out on top. Some plugins appear less expensive at first until you add up what the cost of all the add-ons comes to.
