The uploaded images cannot be found when regenerate thumbnails

  • Hi Alex,

    I have downloaded regenerating thumbnail plugin. But when want to regenerating thumbnail. I received below error message:

    2.”doTERRA-Lavender-Essential-Oil-15-ml” (ID 580) failed to resize. The error message was: The originally uploaded image file cannot be found at /home1/ezmarke1/public_html/wp-content/uploads/https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41p7oSXdmLL.jpg

    Can you help to check and advise me how to resolve this?

    I have uninstalled the wordpress and redo again twice. But the problem still exist. I am really helpless.Looking forward your reply.

    That is an extremely weird file path. It should not have a URL at the end of it.

    Are you using any CDN plugins or any plugins that modify how uploads work? For example storing them somewhere else.

    Does the image show up correctly when you visit this URL?

    /wp-admin/post.php?post=580&action=edit

    Can you use the “Edit Image” button to edit it?

    HI ALex,

    I am using WooZone to create Amazon affiliate website. I don’t know if this is the reason. so URL at the end of it is referring to amazon affiliate id.

    Yes, I can use edit image button to edit. But there are so many images. It is quite tedious if I need to edit image one by one.
    Or may be I give you my wordpress hosting login id so that you can check for me?

    No no, I wasn’t suggesting you do it manually for all of the images. I was just trying to see if WordPress was able to find the original file and edit it for this one particular image.

    I’m not sure why it’s not working.

    Also I noticed the settings in the products images dimensions section do not stay saved when you change them. This could be linked to the problem for not being able to correct the size of the images that are being displayed once imported. Please let me know when you discover. This is really annoying. Thanks ??

    Try disabling the Remote amazon images option in woozone settings.
