The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads

This is out of the blue, with no changes to the site no WP updates.
I did get uploads to happen by changing permissions on the Upload folder to 777 from 755, but I can’t keep it there and don’t want to have to go into CPanel everytime I need to upload something to this site.

Where else to look to fix this issue?

if 777 fixed it, then you have incorrect ownership on your uploads folders. Check to make sure owner is correct. You may have to ask your host for guidance on this.

Thanks, I have a ticket in. This site did get moved to a different server in the last week or so, so something the server end may need to be changed.
