The uploaded file could not be moved Error

    Hello there.

    I have this error when try to install new theme:

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/admin/opusteno/vesti/wp-content/uploads/2011/03.

    I should note that inside that directory is a hundred of photos that is uploaded regullary by wp, and that folder uploads (and its subdirectories) is set to 777 chmod.

    What should i do to fix this error?
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Have you spoken to your hosts? Is it possible that you have filled your hosting space?

    Actually i have vps server with ~10gb free space, so im sure that its not the problem.

    Any other suggestion please?

    Please anyone, i cant change theme on my site and i would really want to change it and to set this up.

    Why are you trying to upload a THEME to the UPLOADS folder?

    Themes go into wp-content/themes.

    I dint try to upload it anywhere, i just go to control panel – themes – install themes – upload, and there chose archived file with theme.

    Well I’ll tell ya it’s not supposed to be uploading THERE ??

    You can manually toss the files into wp-content/themes but I’d check plugins for causing this problem.
