    Hello,
Since the last update which fixed the block by taxonomy problem, which is perfect. But when I wanted to add a recipe today, I noticed the improvements made in the extension and the unit of measurement section (cl, ml, kg, g, etc.) disappeared in the settings and replaced by suggestions, but no way to add more or change the language as was the case before the update! Can you see this problem? Thank you.

    Hello
in addition to the unit measurements that disappeared in the configuration, the very annoying problem is the translation into my language (French). Throughout the site of my recipes at the level of measurements which are not translated! Which does not pose a problem for all new recipes, but not the old ones which are very numerous and I cannot take them one by one to correct the translation…
I’m going to have to go back to the previous version for a correction!

    Hi @isidore1964,

In the latest update, we remove the ingredients unit selection feature completely. This allows users to manually add their desired units.

The new feature allows you to add ingredients in bulk. This was one of the most requested feature. During the update, our dev team ensured that the old units were mapped to the new interface. Since the translation is handled by a different plugin, it wasn’t possible for us to map the translated text. You must manually update the recipe units for all your old recipe posts.

The suggestion feature will automatically populate based on the units you use on your site, making the process slightly easier.

We recommend working on the new update as this is not a bug and we will continue refinement of the current interface in the future based on our users feedback.

    Thank you.

    Hello
this is not conceivable on a site which contains thousands of recipes… Do something on this side, as I said in my post before, that it is impossible to do! This is the reason that made me go back.
For me, like certainly many users of the extension, this remains a bug or a poorly thought out project error that needs to be rectified URGENTLY! Or give the option to choose in the settings.
This process is fine for a new site, but not for a site with hundreds of recipes!
    Thank you

    Hi @isidore1964,

Our team has decided not to add backward compatibility for old interface as it will conflict with the upcoming features we have planned.

The available solution for you is to use Search and Replace plugin to search ingredients and replace it with the desired translation. You can make changes across all your recipes at once.

    Thank you.

    HEello
Honestly, I tried several Search and Replace plugins, none of them work! I’m finishing pulling out what hair I have left… because now it’s the horror of having to either go back or retake the hundreds of recipes on the site. And the Loco Translate plugin doesn’t translate, it tells me “delicious-recipes.pot is missing”
Unfortunately, I’m going backwards while waiting for a solution!
    Thank you

    Hi @isidore1964,

I just checked on my end to test search and replace feature. It works.

    Please check these screenshots – https://prnt.sc/6ItP7K7ohyQy https://prnt.sc/UxQMLbVQqFUb https://prnt.sc/-O9ZMDbAFgpu

I used Better Search Replace plugin. When running the replacement, please uncheck Run as dry run. When this is checked, it doesn’t replace anything but informs the number of text was found.

Please try this out and let us know if you still face any issue. The export file is not needed anymore.

    Hello
I thank you for your help, with the Better Search Replace plugin and with your explanations it worked. I had already tried this plugin without being able to get it to work, but now it’s good, thanks again.
