The underdog

Over the course of 15 years, I have tried almost every gallery plugin on about 140 websites, including testing: Portfolio Gallery, WP Portfolio, GridKit Portfolio Gallery, Portfolio Post Type, Visual Portfolio, NextGEN Gallery, Media Grid, Go Portfolio, Essential Grid, Cube Portfolio, The Grid, and Envira Gallery. However, none of these come close to the simplicity of Robo Gallery. What stands out about Robo Gallery is its light footprint; it’s lightweight and seamlessly adapts to the CSS of the website. The simplicity is refreshing and effective. Although I miss some features, such as password protection for individual galleries, there is a workaround by setting a password on the page itself. This is not ideal, but it works. Robo Gallery far exceeds the rest due to its minimal background code which results in fast loading times, and the appearance is ten times better compared to what many websites promote. I do not understand why it is rarely if ever included. Highly recommended and an underdog that truly belongs at the top
