The UI is horrible and difficult to understand.

    Please listen to the people, there are 5+ MILLION install of classic editor. We don’t want the backend to change the way it is.

    Make it frontend editing or something else. You took easy to use, easy to understand, and easy on the eyes and made it a blank white page that is difficult to use and navigate around.

    Ya’ll built wordpress but it was us who build using it that made wordpress as big as it is you need to listen to us, I don’t understand why you aren’t.

    I thought that at first @chaserogers2017, and so did my 100+ customers. I added some code my theme’s functions file to disable the Gutenberg editor, except for some new page templates that I added that I specified in the functions file code above. My customers then had a choice of which editor to use and I can tell you that over the last 18 months, all have migrated to Gutenberg. With a bit of training even my most jaded customers have started to enjoy creating layouts.
