I’m experiencing an issue with translating archive pages created using Elementor while using the Polylang plugin and the Connect Polylang for Elementor extension.Problem Description:

    • I have created custom archive templates in Elementor for a specific post type (e.g., “Countries”).
    • I’ve assigned display conditions to these archive templates, and they are working fine for the default language.
    • However, when switching to a secondary language using Polylang, the archive page does not load the translated version of the template. Instead, it either:
      1. Falls back to the Home page
    • Additional Notes:
    • This issue is specific to archive pages; other templates like headers, footers posts work as expected with Polylang and Elementor.
    • There are no caching issues as I have already cleared the cache multiple times.

How can I ensure that Elementor-based archive pages are properly translated and displayed for different languages using Polylang? Are there any additional configurations or custom code required to make this work?

    Hi @absoonoo ,

I have fixed this issue by writing some custom jQuery. If you’re able to share the staging URL, I’d be happy to help further. We’re not sure when the support team will respond, as I’m still waiting for their fix as well.

Hi, do you have the CPT enabled as translatable in Polylang settings?

I have tried to replicate the problem by generating a CPT with the plugin
“Custom Post Type UI” and the template was displayed correctly in its language.
