The tranlation isnt working.

Hey im using the accesspress paralax theme and im trying to do some tranlationg like (read all and read more) and it seems to not be working. I instaled the plugin define the language i want (portuguese on this case) and it still doesnt work when im going to translate the the words i said on the top. Am i missing a step or something? I read the documentation whatched videos tutorials on youtube and im not having any success. I would apprecate some help.
