    1. The Print CSS and/or Print JS options have been disabled. Switch them back on, you need them! (Unless you know why you’ve disabled them ??

    2. Your theme is missing a required call to wp_footer(). Go to Editor > Appearance, find footer.php and check for a line containing <?php wp_footer(); ?>, if its not there, paste it in just above </body> and save.

    3. There is a problem with your theme – try switching to a different theme. If Meta Slider works in other themes, but not yours, then you know the issue lies somewhere in your theme. Resolving theme issues can be tricky. As the issue is not with Meta Slider itself we request you contact your theme author before contacting us (unless you’re a Pro customer) – especially if its a premium theme.

    4. There is a conflict with other plugins – disable all other plugins. If Meta Slider starts working, start enabling plugins one by one to figure out which plugin is causing the issue. Leave the offending plugin disabled and/or report the issue to the plugins author.

    5. You want to add the slideshow to your header. Please see the FAQ!

  • I should add the documentation does say to enter shortcode, but I’m ignorant as to where. The slider works fine, it’s my ignorance I would like to rectify. the preview works and etc. version 2.0.
Wow, that first post just breathes frustration. unintended!

short code is pasted into the content area of the post.
    resolved.
I found this on a site from a different slider, but it worked with metaslider.

    Hi
so confused with this – do we use the long code or short code? – both? and where abouts.

    Hi,

Please could you create a new topic with a link to your site and I’ll take a look.

    Regards,
    Tom

The slider has been created, but I have difficulty with editing the header.php file with Pinboard theme.
Does someone have an idea where the echo short code should be inserted?

    thanks

I have found that after recent updates, other plugins doing minify/compressiong for JS can cause the slider to not display properly or transition. It’s not necessarily the whole plugin, just disable that feature if you are having trouble.

Just wanted to let people know.

    @created void,
If you still have problems, there is an option to align the image in the position you need.
My edit problem has been solved
