• The featured plugins area when going to Plugins > Add New is something that users assume comes from a place of authority — www.remarpro.com itself. The reasoning behind which plugins get featured and why is another thing entirely, but to hijack it and add your other plugins to the top of the list gives the wrong impression.

Maybe most people don’t see this but I have this plugin installed on a test site and I usually leave it on as I reset often enough. I’m not sure there’s a www.remarpro.com plugin guideline broken here, but it doesn’t feel right.

I hope the plugin developer reconsiders the hijacking of the featured plugins area, maybe consider adding their own tab or section or something else to differentiate that they are in fact “Our other plugins”. Right now, I’m going to switch to another plugin that doesn’t do this sort of thing.
