• Hey,

I’m new to the WordPress website world and I have come across an issue when I google my website link it is coming up with the titles of the posts instead of the website as you can see:

    https://www.google.co.uk/#q=www.pyrrhicmusic.com

It has seemed to of taken the title of one of my posts I have previously published and I am not sure how to resolve it?

If anyone has any ideas I would be extremely grateful!

    Katie

  • There is no immediate way to order search bots to crawl, index and rank your site and to update your meta titles, tags and description. If you have the Google Webmaster Tools access you can adjust the crawl speed in that. But if you are curious to know when would you find the changes in Google you have made to your site, you will need to monitor Google’s crawl rate of your site.

If your site doesn’t get frequent visits from bots, then go to pingler.com and ping the site.

It won’t make the search engines update your cached data, but it will announce that you made a change and bring the bots back to your site quicker.
