The title of my pattern is no good

  • Hi everybody,
    I create a pattern in the repository pattern, but when I send it, it is rejected.

    Reason: the pattern title should describe the pattern.

    My title is: Latest post section, with title, excerpt and featured image. Section has gradient background.

    How can I improve it so that WP likes it?

    Thank you for using the support forum for the query.

    Regarding the title, we have a very simple guideline and it says,

    Does it have a descriptive title? This is a loose rule, just checking for things like “pattern name” or “testing”.

    But, we are also looking for a pattern that is unique and adds value to the repository. And sometimes, the system will auto-send the patterns as Spam as well. We need to review them manually.

    My suggestion,
    * Make the title precise.
    * Make a unique pattern

    Fix it and resubmit again. I’ll check it.

    Hi @kafleg,
    thank you for your reply.

    In the end I opted for drastic intervention. I deleted the draft pattern and created a new one.
    I chose a title that I liked this time.
    I also managed to send another pattern which was approved.

    Only there are duplicates in my author and one of the patterns is assigned to www.remarpro.com ???♀?

    How can I contribute to the pattern repository? Has a team been set up?
