I am using this plugin in a Japanese environment.
Today orchids on the Manage Adverts page are off by 9 hours. I think this is because I haven’t looked at the WordPress timezone.
    I seek improvement.

AdRotate uses the same timezone as your WordPress setup.
Setting that correctly will also show correct time in AdRotate.

    I live in Japan.
Therefore, the WordPress time zone is set to “Tokyo”.
But the today column of Manage Adverts is off by 9 hours.

I’m in a GMT-7 timezone and that works for me.
I also have no other complaints about incorrect times.

So logically something on your website or server is wrong then.
If the timezone in WP is set correctly then something else is going wrong.
Sometimes the server time is off – Commonly that’s set to GMT+0 or UTC.
Sometimes it’s not though which can cause some odd results. Though that should not impact the time shown on the website or in plugins.
