the ticks is not displayed

  • i’m using this plugin and already had put about 5 ticks in the ticker and also the wp_head() is available , but in different browser the ticks is not shown , and when i inspect element i can see the ticks in the inspect element bar but they are not shown , i’ve tried to make their style display : block and color : black but also nothing appears and also they are arranged as an list

    Does your theme include wp_footer()? That is required as well.

    Could you provide a link to your site where the ticker should be displaying? I’ll need to check it out to see what is going on.

    With latest upgrade I am having same problem. Ticks are viewable on website, but are no longer visible or editable from dashboard. https://www.svasthayogainstitute.com
    I tried deactivated, removing, reloading, reactivating – no ticks.

    It sounds like you have a different problem than @deshazzz. He is having trouble seeing his ticks on the front end (I believe).

    The ticker Type, Mode, and Global settings are all contained within separate tabs on your ticker edit screen. Make sure you have the Ticker Type tab selected in order to see/edit your ticks.

    I can’t see them on frontend either. I can see the coding for them and colours would work but there is no display. I had it at one point messing with the settings but both the ticks showed up static with no scrolling.

    I’m using Ditty News Ticker on two other sites without issue – but on this one (url above) I don’t get any of the previous ticks in dashboard (though they appear fine on the site). On the ticker page I see Ticker Type, Ticker Mode and Global Settings. With Ticker Type selected (green) below that is Default (green) mixed and more extensions. Nothing below that (no ticks).

    Thanks for sending me your info.

    From what I’m seeing there is a javascript error on your site that is killing the display of the ticks on Safari (mac). The tickers display for me in Chrome and Firefox. In order to track down the javascript error you will need to run through this article https://metaphorcreations.ticksy.com/article/1483/ and figure out which plugin (or theme) it may reside in.

    Thnx Metaphorcreations. I too noticed a problem w/ Safari – couldn’t add a new user, which is probably related to the JS error that’s hacking Ditty News Ticker. I’ll dig deeper and see what to do, meanwhile glad to know it’s working in FF!
