The theme does not accept tawk.to chat?

  • I paste the chat plugin code in the local request (footer.php) before the </ body> tag but it does not work. It does not appear at the bottom of the site. Detail that caught my attention is that in footer.php there is the </ body> tag, but there is no tag that opens the command that would be <body>.

    Can you help me solve this problem?

    From what I have seen from the plugin company, the tawk.to is using the Widget feature so you can place it within your website.

    Where do you want to place the tawk.to content ( chat window ) ?

    In the FREE version you can not add widgets within the page content.

    Only, in the PRO version you can add widgets within the page content.
