The symbols under the publicera are gone?
-
Could you please clarify on what you mean by the symbols under publicera are gone? Is this related to the Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin? Please try to provide a screenshot as well as additional details on the issue you’re encountering so we can try to advise further.
Maybe this is what he meant. It completely disappeared after the recent update. On the other matter, while your team on Yoast striving to give the best to your users, but updating this plugin everyday start to annoying. Each update gives more new bugs. Please don’t treat your user’s websites as experiment place for your plugin update. Test your new update thoroughly before release it to the public. And please stop updating EVERY DAY.
Yep, symbols disappeared after recent update! Just as Shah showed in the screenshot above.

And SEO toolbar looks like this.
Latest wordpress with php7.2
Thanks
My problem may be different from others. I’ve downgraded the plugin to 7.0 and now works. I’ve tried all versions from 8 to 9 but with no luck.
I guess maybe a plugin conflict or something else, but with v7 works.
@shahahmadyusof No, there are no errors in the console.
There is also the problem where it cant load the keyword and readability suggestions. The wheels just keep going. In the developer error messages it says 10-12 errors about it. So it wasent themes or plugins. It was the SEO Yoast after all. It irritates me VERY! I was going to have fun and do the keywords and such right this weekend. And now it dosent work.
Hello,
The errors described above are usually caused by a conflict with another plugin or theme.
Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. We recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin as it allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a step by step guide that will walk you through the process. You can find it here: How to Check For Plugin Conflicts

This is not a refined solution. You cannot expect owners of large live heavy traffic sites to disable all plugins and change themes because you guys have not tested your updates correctly and widely enough. Some of us have spent years perfecting our themes with custom codes and carry high ad clients. Not acceptable.
This problem started with your last update. Kindly start there and do more work on it. Try it with some caching tools, popular ad systems etc. Or better yet offer a way to live off the older versions that DID WORK!
No excuse for sloppy programming here at all.
What an easy reply. So, we are all using wrong plugins ?
There is no conflict with other plugins or themes !
I am running different sites with various themes, various plugins, on various servers.Tested with Yoast 9.0.1 => NO problem !
Updated to 9.0.2 => problem (no symbols) !
Changed to Twenty Seventeen => problem still thereThe problems shows in ALL my sites after updating to Yoast 9.0.2 !
Thanks DirkD for some common sense.
At least you had a chance to test it. If I start changing my readers and visitors not to mention ad clients will have kittens and lose a ton of custom code over the last 3 years.
Did you roll back to 9.0.1?
Anyone having readability errors after the update try clearing any cache plugin. That worked for me on initial checking but the missing symbols are still a major problem that is not resolved as yet by Yoast.
@m22687
No, I did not roll back because it seems only the symbols are the problem.
However, I do get some errors in some posts. An error occurred in the ‘fleschReadingEase’ assessment
An error occurred in the ‘textSentenceLength’ assessment
An error occurred in the ‘textTransitionWords’ assessment
An error occurred in the ‘passiveVoice’ assessment
An error occurred in the ‘sentenceBeginnings’ assessmentIt seems to show up when using > or < in the post.
See topic here (May 2017) : https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7082
So, this is also not solved yet.
I tried to clear the caches but no results ??Just checked and I have the same errors in a few recent articles. Sloppy.
