    Hi,
I installed the plugin and followed all the instructions. I can fill in the birth report and it lets me chose a place of birth. But the only result I get is: The Swiss Ephemeris is not working.

Any ideas how to fix this.

    Thanks. Eveline

Maybe I should mention that I am on a Windows server and installed the Windows server extensions and I checked the permissions.

Sorry about that. You may have checked the permissions for the regular swetest file. But, I forgot to add documentation to explain how to check the permissions for the Windows server swetest file. I just added the following to the documentation. Please see if this helps:

ZodiacPress Windows Server includes a file called swetest.exe that must have permission to execute in order to get the planetary positions from the Swiss Ephemeris. The path to the file is:

    plugins/zp-windows-server/sweph/swetest.exe

If you received this error notice: “The Swiss Ephemeris is not working,” you may have to log in to your web host and manually set the permission for the swetest.exe file.

If your Windows hosting platform allows you to set specific permissions, then set the permission for the swetest.exe file to allow everyone to “read and execute” it, but the “owner” should also have permission to “write” to it.

If your Windows hosting platform does not allow you to set specific permissions, then at least make sure that the swetest.exe file is not set to “read only.”

Thank you for your reply. I reset the permissions for the file, they were already set to read and write allowed.
Could the fact that I have a WordPress multisite install be the problem?

Okay. You say the permissions were set to read and write, but that file needs permission to “execute.” Did you check for “execute” permission?

About multisite: I have not tested this plugin with multisite. I will do so. Are you using the plugin on the main site of the multisite network, or on a network site?

I only have these two options but I will inform tomorrow with my provider and let you know.
I am using the plugin on a network site.

Hi i’ve got the same problem, file is r/w/x 0755
    WHat could be wrong?

I have the same problem. Will contact host company (www.remarpro.com) and will ask them to check this for me. Will write back to this thread, hopefully, with good result.
