the successor to smush it

there was a time and place for smush it, now is the time of the ewwww image optimizer plugin, which does the same but on your local server. Who knows for how long yahoos smushing service will be available for, and there is the pesky limitation to deal with. ewww image optimizer fixes that problem, and even offers better compression options while at it. I use it also with cloudinary. I optimize with ewww, then cdn upload to cloudinary :}
