    Hello,

my english is not the best. Hope you understand me.

I love the plugin. But still have a problem. For me, the drop-down menus disappeared. Meanwhile, I’ve learned through an old post that this can happen if the same jQuery are used.

Then I deactivated all plugins. It was the plugin “myStickymenu“.

Unfortunately, there are no comparable plugins. Therefore the question: Is there a possibility to use both plugins actively.

Hope I can be helped :).

    Greetings

  • Hello,

Can you use plugin “myStickyMenu” without “Menu Image”? Is it working correctly? Because as I know Menu Image plugin doesn’t use any jquery scripts.

    Hi.

Yes, I can – currently is only the mystickymenu active on https://www.familybiker.de and the drop down menu works perfectly.

Now had the plugin “Sticky Menu (or Anything!) On Scroll” tested, there is the same problem.

Can it be on the theme? I use the “Dazzling”.

    Ok – everything back …

It’s probably not at mystickymenu! If I disable the menu plugin, the drop down menu also works.

BUT – when I activate the “Menu Image”, it does not work anymore.

Had tried two other icon plugins, as the drop down worked. However, I did not like everything around it.

Wordpress not allowing to work normally multiple menu plugins. Just ping when you found what exactly plugin didn’t work with Menu Image ??

It probably has nothing to do with other plugins. It is apparently the theme. ??

Have the design Twenty Fifteen tried, there icons are displayed and the drop down menu opens.

Now the question, what needs to be changed. And I guess I have to turn to the theme maker?

Sorry for my confused request ??

No problem, problems mainly in theme, but theme owner usually doing nothing with that, they asked customers to disturb plugin developers and I don’t know why it is, very ofter themes not free and theme developer receive money for his work, but plugins usually free.

About your case, if you understand how to write code for wordpess, you can fix it by yourself. First what you need is find in theme php class like MenuWalker, which responsible for menu items and how html code for menu items is displayed, check with what the Menu Image plugin is used in any default theme and make them looks the same.

I had already thought that the theme maker does nothing more. But that was not bad for me. So far everything has worked. Had to try too late a drop down menu.

Am unfortunately not so the experienced coder. However, I’ve found some codes on the net for this purpose. So I have to deal with it again.

Above all, the possibility of the two icons I find just great:) … Let’s see if I can make the approach itself.

Thanks in any case for your time!

Feel free to ask in case you will need help again
