The Slider images are messed up.

    Even though the theme looks superb the images in the featured slider do not render accurately. I’ve played with the recommended sizes of 1920×1080 px, but still they don’t come out as they should.

    I’ve also dug into the code to see where the discrepancy comes from, but in general it’s a waste of time and energy. This is a common problem in other catch themes, as well.

    The url is currently “under construction”, so I will just try to explain to you the issue better.

    Catch Foodmania, like many other catch themes, has a featured slider option. It uses the featured images of the pages a person chooses for the slider. The designated parameters for the images in the slider are 1920x1080px. However, when I put images this size they are automatically zoomed in, pixelated, or rendered badly, in general.

    I also tried to set different sizes for the images, but to no avail. Do you think a different size image will fit better or I should try changing something in the theme code?

    @martinp13: The recommended image size for slider image is 1980*1080px.
