Thanks for reaching out. It sounds that during the setup flow when requested not all permissions that are required to connect Site Kit with your Google account were granted. This isn’t a problem however, as you can redo the plugin setup. Please try this and then grant all requested permissions. Let me know how that goes.

in other side it has informed that; “Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site” while the account is same as before.

Site Kit can be setup by other WordPress administrators. Are there other WordPress administrator users or is it possible that you have a shared login with others?

In the case of another admin setting up the plugin this isn’t a problem. They’ll just need to ensure they grant you permissions to the connected properties if any.

In the case of a shared login other users may have setup the plugin, and this could be the cause of the permissions issue above. Ideally each user would have their own WordPress administrator account, and this would be associated with their own Google account so they can setup Site Kit themselves with their own Google account.

Please inform me if you have any questions with the above, or let me know how you get on after attempting setup once more.

I can’t be sure what happened in that case, in particular if there are not other WordPress administrators or you’re not sharing the same login. The “Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site” typically occurs in the case of a different user setting up the plugin. This is separate to the “you did not grant the necessary permissions” notice.

So we can determine more on this can you share the current status or whether you’re seeing any of the notices you previously reported? If so please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Have you tried attempting the plugin setup once more? If so what was the outcome. You’ll need to grant all permissions once requested
    3. Did you try to setup any other module (ie. AdSense) using a separate Google account to the once which you initially used to setup Site Kit?

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Hi @vacurim,

Thank for the update and sharing the troubleshooting steps you’ve undertaken. Can you share whether it’s the “The Site Kit setup was interrupted because you did not grant the necessary permissions” or the “Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site” notice that you require assistance with?

In the case it’s the permissions related issue let me know if you’ve attempted setup once more and then granted all permissions.

In the case if related to another admin of your site configurating Site Kit as you’ve mentioned no other admin has access please share the information requested above, in particular your Site Health information.

Once we know the specific error or notice you’re encountering I’d be happy to advice further. If desired you can share a screen recording showing the error or warning. You can use a service such as Loom or RecordIt to share a video recording, while using the same form suggested previously to include your Site Health information.
