I am having a problem with sharing video access.
For example, I have a page https: //****.com/work/ – it is under a password. That is, in order for the employee to get access to the video, you need to enter the password.
But if the user has already watched the video and copied the link to another browser https: //*******.com/aiovg_videos/01video/ – it looks like this, and allows access without entering a password.
    How to fix it? Thanks

Our videos belong to a Custom Post Type “Videos (aiovg_videos)”. In other words, our videos are nothing but a WordPress Post but belong to a custom content type “videos”.

So, when you click on a video from the gallery, the video will be displayed on its own post page. From your question, I understand that you had set a password for the gallery page. But, that works only on the gallery page. Here, the video pages are not protected by any password. So, they are publicly accessible.

The solution is to set a password for each of our video pages (Video Gallery => All Videos) as you did for the gallery page https://****.com/work/

Alternatively, you can use our “Popup” template that opens the video on the same gallery page.

But still, a user can access the video Post page if he knows the URL.

How do you set the password for a page? Do you use the WordPress’ built-in feature or use any third-party plugins? And, how do the users know the password? Do all the users (members) have the same password? Sorry, I can get you some idea if you could share more details about this.

If possible, kindly submit a ticket here https://plugins360.com/support/ to further discuss this privately.

Thank you very much for your reply!
I set the password using standard WordPress tools.
Perhaps you can advise any plugin to close entire categories with videos, I just have more than 150 videos on the site, and if I will create a password for each page, it will take a very long time.
I do not have a division of users by roles, etc., all users use the same password.

To be honest, I have no experience with such a plugin. But, I found this https://barn2.com/password-protect-wordpress-custom-post-type/#password-protect from my quick Google search and that looks promising. Hope this helps you!

Unfortunately, I have no desire to buy this plugin – it is too expensive.
Apparently you will have to do everything manually, in any case – thanks
