I recently started getting the following error message when trying to upload a new image:

“The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2560 pixels.”

I have been able to upload for years. The images are less than 300K. I am hosted at Bluehost. Bluehost techs are able to upload. I have disabled all plugins and have a max upload size of 512 MB. I have optimized my images and only used less than 2 GIG of 50. I am using COMCAST internet access. I have a Netgear Nighthawk AX8 Cx80 router. I have deleted my local cache. I am able to upload when I setup my iPhone as a hotspot. This makes believe it is either the COMCAST or Netgear. I am not aware of any software changes to the router. I have Googled COMCAST blocking images and found no relative links.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Thanks you for your post. The your first link is for a post-processing error. The image is never uploaded, “The server cannot process the image”. The article is geared towards an image issue. The images are all under 300K. Additionally, as I said, I am able to use a hotspot and upload successfully. The second link is again about image issues. Because the hotspot works, the image attributes do not seem to be the problem.

I’ve changed to the default theme and had the same error. I’ve also logged into my router looking for something that might block uploads and couldn’t identify anything that might cause a problem. I’ve Googled Xfinity blocking uploads and again couldn’t find anything.

My other sites have no issues uploading. I’m still at a loss.
