I’m not understanding what’s going on. I have followed all your instructions in other issues and the problem persists. Inside ‘settings’ in ‘search links in’ I have pressed all the ones you say, and I have also included the ‘enable loggin’ option, but the result is the same: it only finds 2 links that come from two comments in a blog… I don’t know what to do anymore, could you help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bernatodrigo

    I hope you’re well today!

By “scrapping” you mean detecting links, right?

Based on your description, I understand that you are using the “Local (old)” engine of Broken Link checker. This checker doesn’t “crawl” the front-end of the site but works based on parsing content of the site that it gets from the database, using WP core functions.

Because of this, it also depends a lot on how the content is actually stored and in case of some page builders or some specific custom site configuration it may not be able to see everything. But that’s just a general remark.

To be able to tell more, we’d need to get some additional information so could you, please:

    1. let us know if the site is using some sort of page builder solution and if yes, what is it?
    2. or, for example, is it storing most of its content in form of custom fields rather than using standard post editor?

    3. share screenshots of all settings currently set in the following tabs of the “Settings” page of the plugin:
    – “look for links in”
    – “which links to check”

    3. let us know what are the settings of following options in “Advanced” tab: timeout, link monitor

    4. download and share the log file created by the plugin; you can find location of that file in “Advanced” tab, right below the “Enable logging” option and to share it it’s best to upload it to your Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and include direct link to it in response below.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

We didn’t hear back from you for quite some time so I’m marking this as resolved for now.

But if you still need assistance or have any follow-up questions, just let us know and we’ll be ready to get back to you.
