The plugin gives the warning: The scanner found unprotected email addresses.

When I click on the email address found, it says:
“If this section of your site is filtered by the primary WordPress filters, such as the_content, widget_text and others, then the free, open source version automatically obfuscates these email addresses using HTML entities.”

So what does this mean? Are these email address protected or not? The warning looks kind of a commercial to upgrade to premium.

How this plugin works and what’s obfuscated is described here: https://encoder.till.im/guide

The scanner found unprotected email addresses.

    This is self explanatory ??

I find the warning message not self explanatory at all. Are my email addresses protected or not? If not: why?

I’m still confused what the message means: it’s just a general explanation:
“If this section of your site is filtered by the primary WordPress filters, such as the_content, widget_text and others, then the free, open source version automatically obfuscates these email addresses using HTML entities.”

    Is it protected or not?

I don’t know. What does the scanner say?
