I created a Caldera form for users to sign up for a newsletter. The form just contains 3 fields (Firstname, Lastname, and Email address) and a Submit button. I then copy the shortcode for the form and paste it into a popup created with the WordPress “Popup” plugin. When it pops up on the site I fill it out and when I Submit it I get an error “The resource could not be validated. For field-specific details, see the ‘errors’ array.”

I don’t know what the ‘errors’ array is or how to look at it.

I’m only using it in the popup. I do NOT use mailchimp or anything like that.

Still waiting on help with this. Anybody?

What happens if you execute the form in a ‘normal’ page?

    Thanks for responding Wilfried!

Same error previewing the form through the Caldera Form editor or putting the Form shortcode on a new page.

    Hi Tim,

I’m not from Caldera. But using it in several sites until now without any problem.

Suggestion: Use on ‘normal page’ to start; decativate all your plugins; use a default WP theme. If still don’t work, deactivate all extra CSS. If it works then, first activate again your theme – test; activate one by one all your plugins – test.

This way you can debug where the problem (or conflict) is.

Thanks for trying to help Wilfied1954, I just switched to Contact Form 7 and it worked perfectly “out of the box”.
