  • I can create new pages, but I cannot adjust the order they are in. I get this error when I click the “Click to Order Pages” button:

    The requested URL /wp-admin/page-new.php was not found on this server.

    Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download.

    I mean in the admin panel. I am trying to adjust the order of the pages and i keep getting that error. James: I installed it via Cpanel. It is in the root of my website. I do not want to lose any customizations or the theme and have to re-do the plugins and themes. Right???

    You’re only replacing core files, so as long you don not replace the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory, you won’t lose any customizations.

    That did not work at all. It simply appears that the page-new.php file is missing. Right?

    Do you a page-new.php file in your /wp-admin/ directory?
