I’m trying to log in into WooCoomerce mobile app using site credentials but getting this error “The request to generate application password is not authorized”. This happens when I’m trying to log in using my iPhone. But when I’m trying to log in with my another phone (not iPhone), all works good. What could be the problem?

    Hello zedxxx,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re encountering an error:
The request to generate application password is not authorized
When trying to log in to the WooCommerce mobile app using your iPhone, while it works fine on another phone.

I recommend creating a ticket at WooCommerce.com so we can review your account and provide further assistance. Let me know if you have any questions about creating a ticket.

    Have a great day!

I can’t create ticket at WooCommerce.com. I need to connect store first, but can’t do this because I’m getting an error “Your store is not driven by WordPress or REST API is disabled.” I’ve checked, and REST API at my website is activated. Can you please check your iPhone application? Because on my second not-iPhone phone all works good.

    Hi @zedxxx

Thanks for the additional details! You can connect to WooCommerce support by visiting WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You can use a desktop browser but make sure to log in to your WooCommerce.com account. Or create one if you haven’t already.

For setting up the mobile app, kindly check the documentation to ensure your device meets the requirements and that you’ve followed the setup guide:

Just a note: The message “Your store is not driven by WordPress or REST API is disabled” usually shows up if the WooCommerce app can’t find a WordPress setup on your site. Make sure the URLs you entered when entering the site address is correct with no typos, then try the setup process again using the link/s above.

    Hope this helps!
