The Reply to comments option is no longer working

    I’ve just noticed that the Reply button doesn’t actually allow a nested reply (yes, nesting is enabled to 5, just checked). Moreover, I no longer seem to have a different url for the Reply; now basically the link in the date and the link in the Reply are exactly the same. So when I click on Reply, it just jumps down to the next comment. The only way anyone can now reply is by scrolling to the very end of the page and adding a new comment, which is wrong.

    I searched on Google, on this site, but nothing came up regarding my issue. The only two problems I’ve seen were about comments not being visible and comment reply notifications not being enabled.

    Btw, this happens across the entire site, not only the linked post. My WordPress version is 4.9.4.

    Ok, I figured it out. It has to do with the latest version of Yoast. As soon as I disabled the plugin, the “replytocom” is back and I can now reply to people directly under their comments. I guess I’ll take up the issue in the Yoast forum now.
