Hello, I am running a marketplace and just cleaned up 70K products, for which I now would like to clean the associated images. I tested in my staging site but got an error after 900 Minutes. When I pressed auto-retry the process started from the beginning.

I tested with the free version. Is there any way that this massive amount of data can be managed in the payed version?

Also I remember that I did the job some years ago with the issue that images used by WCFM Marketplace plugin like vendor logos and banners where erased as marked as not in use. At this time you provided a new version of the plugin that should have that fixed. I am not sure if I ever tested this.

Is newest release supposed to be compatible with WCFM Marketplace Plugin?

    Thanks & BR

    Dominique

    Hi,

Sorry, the Pro will not change anything to that. Wouldn’t be fair that the Free doesn’t work for this, but the Pro does ??

That said, the plugin has no problem with big installs. The problem is why did it break? It’s definitely not the plugin (no known bugs for years now), but it might be another plugin, or the server, timeouts… did you check?

Hi, thanks. I was hoping that there might be another approach in PRO that allows this to work somehow ??

I assume it is some kind of a timeout. Not sure how I can check that. Actually Cloudflare times out after 1800 seconds as far as I know. I was wondering that the process was working for close to 900 minutes without any timeout to be honest.

Any idea how to avoid a timeout?

Thanks. Won′t help when Cloudflare is in use unfortunately as 1800 seconds are fixed here. Not possible to just scan certain folders or minimy the process any other way I guess?

    Thanks

Cloudflare is not the issue. Media Cleaner is using independent requests, they should run in less than 10 sec each. Your issue is different ??

Scanning the folders doesn’t take time. What takes times is to analyze the content.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I ran the process once again in my production environment and managed to finalize the process.

It also seems that WCFM Logos and Banners are correctly identified as in use.

So I think I will go ahead with cleaning soon once I managed to backup the files. Very happy at the end. Just confused that this great service is for free?! :-/

Well, yes and no; I have a Pro version with more features, and that support a lot more plugins. It helps me maintaining the Free one, and helping people here. It’s a balance, not always easy, but as the plugins gain in stability, it’s quite nice ??

Don’t hesitate to leave a little review, that always help.
