    Hello.

Recaptcha is not always displayed on the site and you need to refresh the page for it to appear.
The recaptcha is sometimes displayed immediately if you go to the page, and sometimes you need to re+refresh the page again for it to be displayed. Hope someone can help me solve this problem

    Thanks you !

Do you have multiple reCaptcha plugins installed?

Are you running the latest version of “ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7” ( which is 1.2.9 )?

Have you tried changing the reCaptcha source from google.com to recaptcha.net? To see where to do this, follow the provided screenshot:

    Hello.

There is only one recaptcha on the site and it is version 1.2.9 and I replaced it with recaptcha.net
But I understood why the recaptcha is not always displayed. I have a plugin “autoptimize” and when I go to the contact form page, the recaptcha does not load, only when the update is repeated the recaptcha appears. What should I do ??? I need the plugin autoptimize !

    Thank you !

    Hello,

If you disable Autoptimize and the issue is resolved then it sounds like it might be something specific with either the Autoptimize plugin itself or the active settings enabled in the plugin. You may want to reach out to the Autoptimize support team and see what they suggest as it may be a simple settings update.

You’re more than welcome to link this thread in your conversation with their team and we’re more than happy to listen to any of their suggestions regarding this issue. Hopefully between both our teams we can come to a speedy solution!

In any case, we’ll leave this thread open for the time being while you discuss this issue with the Autoptimize team. Stay safe and have a wonderful weekend!

Maybe try adding plugins/wpcf7-recaptcha/ to the comma-separated JS optimization exlusion list?

    Hello

I added the plugin to the optimization exclusion list and now the plugin is loaded immediately, but the question is, can this plugin be excluded ?

    Thanks

    Hello @zonepluss

I’m not quite sure I follow your question. Under “Settings > Autoptimize” there should be a section for “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize:” where you could paste the following:

    wpcf7-recaptcha-controls.js

This field expects a comma separated list so if you have other entries already in that field you’ll need to prepend a comma:

    , wpcf7-recaptcha-controls.js

It may be more beneficial to bring up your issues on the Autoptimize forums as they may have more ideas since they are more familiar with their plugin.
