By default, the Yoast SEO plugin only analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, and the main WordPress content editor (Block or Classic). If you are adding your content through other plugins, third-party page builders like Divi Builder, Elementor, or WPBakery, or custom theme content boxes, the plugin won’t be able to detect the content with complete accuracy or use the eye highlight function properly, so it may provide incorrect content analysis. The eye highlight tool has also been disabled for some page builders.
We provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis. So, if you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation — https://developer.yoast.com/customization/yoast-seo/adding-custom-data-analysis/
With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and might show an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is just to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site. All the other features of Yoast SEO Premium should still work as expected as well.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We’d be happy to help.
