• Hi,

I’m using this great wp-matomo plugin on my network of WordPress sites, specially the proxy mode that works fine. Since a few days I noticed my traffic was declining inside Matomo (on all my sites) and after doign some research I found that it basically stopped counting any Chrome browser traffic (just a little bit). When inspecting my pages inside the Chrome console, I noticed this error

    /wp-content/plugins/wp-piwik/proxy/matomo.php?action_name=…
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Again, this is only in Chrome, other browsers are not giving this error in the console and traffic is tracked fine.

Matomo was updated 2 days ago and these things started for me, I’m not sure if it’s Matomo or the plugin or
Wordpress. Maybe there was a Chrome update that blocks this kind of proxy connections? It’s so strange that it seems to only give a 500 server error in Chrome. When using the tracker without the proxy (and using the normal js tracking code), it’s working fine

    Cheers,

    Marcel
