The post snippet will not change with the correction I made in typing.

    I made an error in the first line of a post and even though I corrected it, the plug-in snippet is not showing the corrected version. It is probably using a cached version, even though I disabled the older plug-in version and uploaded the newest version, it seems to be using the same cache (if that is what the problem is. I am not a developer). I am also nervous about changing the code, especially in knowing WHERE to make any changes. Thank you for your help. This is a writing business site so it is important not to have spelling or typing mistakes.

    Hi Rebecca,
    in the admin interface of the widget, type 0 (a zero) in the field “The cache will be used for (in seconds)” of the “Cache” section and press “Save”. This will reset the cache of the plugin.

    I can’t find an area that says “The cache will be used for (in seconds)”

    there seems to be 2 possible areas – first a list of “functions”(?), of which is this:
    ………………………..
    ‘cached’ => false,
    ‘cache_time’ => 3600,
    ‘widget_id’ => ”,
    );
    ………………………
    It looks like I should not change 3600 to 0 unless told specifically to do so.
    then below that list is an area about the cache, beginning with:

    // If the user has choosen a cached version…
    ……………….but no phrase:
    “The cache will be used for (in seconds)”

    Please, do not open code files and do not edit them if you don’t know what to do. Simply go to the admin interface and make every change there. The cache section is at the bottom right of the three-columns part.
