I have a site that works fine. I made a clone, with the same host, to try a new theme, Oceanwp, choosing a static page for my Home page. My Post page worked fine. Then I installed Elementor to create new pages and now my Post page displays only one “post” : itself. I went back to my old theme : the same thing.
In the customizer if I choose another page for the Post page, it works again but once I publish it the same thing happens : the Post page displays the Post page not the posts. If I choose to display the latest posts on my Home page no problem.
I deactivated Elementor and my Post page worked fine again with both themes.
Do you have an idea of what’s going on ?

  • Hi
I am also having the same problem
    Context:
    -New updated WordPress installation
    -Only the elementor plugin installed
-The installed theme is Twenty Sixteen
    -two post published
-My home page shows a static page
    -Defined a page for posts
    Problem:
With home page mode; “a static page”, the posts are not displayed on the page defined for this purpose.
When I remove the elementor plugin, there is not problem and I can see my posts on the designated page….

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and all our apologies for the inconvenience.

We understand you just updated the plugin to the latest version.

Please refer to this article from our help center.

For any performance issues due to 3.1.0 update, we suggest to deactivate the experiments features. This could allow the performance back to normal.

I will be looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

Thank you for your fast answer.
I deactivated “Landing Page” experiment and the performance went back to normal.
I kept the other experiments active without problems.
I can keep using Elementor, that’s great !
    Best regards.

    Hi, me too
    Thank for the solution ??
    Best regards
