The Portfolio Carousel dissapared

Hi, Is it showing a blank carousel is or nothing showing? Can you post a link? You can set a specific type beside Portfolio Carousel Category Type in Theme Options > Home Layout.

Not sure what you mean by putting products in portfolio items. What method did you use in doing this? But yes, you should be able to just delete them.

Thanks Hannah. Now It’s showing only two images. I fixed that through Theme Options. Category type. I am still in Maintenance mode; didn’t go live still.
I fixed the other issue. Now I just need all six photos to appear. I will check into the Portfolio pages where I have the different items and see if the photo is correctly inserted.

Outch. Now I cannot get the portfolio pages to work. It shows error and nothing opens.
I present brands through portfolios. Should I have chosen pages in stead? Now I am confused.
The posts doesn’t work either. Only the first extract and then the continuing page with the entire post doesn’t open. error too.
If you are available I could turn off the Maintenance Mode for a while. Thank you

Hi,
My first suggestion would be to deactivate plugins one by one to see if one is causing the issue.
If that doesn’t work please turn off maintenance mode. I am available for the next hour or so. Will be back on again in the morning (east coast time).

Hi Hannah I missed you yesterday ??
And I got the portfolio photos back yay! I am not sure what I did, but I changed the Permalink to default and I went through all Portfolio pages to adjust. The problem now is the size of the photos. I set to max 350 pxl hight, but they are all over the place.
Not sure if I find out how to fix it by myself.

Are you talking about your portfolio photos? Where are you setting this height?

I set the height in each portfolio item (page).
I also tried to set the same pixel on each photo in media, but that didn’t help much.

Looks like you have jetpacks photon turned on.. turn it off. That would override the theme and the image sizes.

Hi, I turned off Photon and it works better. But it still doesn’t show all the photos in the Carousel and why does it crop one of the photos when I made all the same height?
Actually turning off the Jetpack Carousel things work better. But still have the questions above! Thank you. When I get the site up and going and some revenue I am going to upgrade to premium.

How large are the images your using for each portfolio item? Are they at least 600px 600px?

Hello,

I have virtue theme on my online store HorseRider Journey (https://www.horseriderjourney.com/). I created a portfolio for each brand (Marcas) I sell and a portfolio to introduce each invited author (Autores) that writes to my blog.

The problem is that I didn’t want my authors showed up in the portfolio caroussel for the the brands. Can I separate them?

Hey Margarida,
Are you referring to the portfolio carousel in Theme Options > Home Layout? You can select a specific category to be displayed under the Home Portfolio Carousel Settings. Does that work for you?

When clients and business partners open a brand portfolio they’re not suppose to see my authors portfolio. I want to separate.
