• I wish i could say it in a better way, but I noticed something off with the rank math free plugin as well as the pro version. It’s heartbreaking to have found out that Rankmath seems to be showing false analytics.

Im a million percent sure because my website had been in maintenance mode since past 2 months and I have visited it after 2 months and it shows traffic of 1500 for this month and 526 for yesterday. It’s results are way over the top. It seems like it’s giving a view of heavy traffic but guys there is not even admin traffic and the website is in maintainance mode all this while . Its not even published officially so how will it get this kind of traffic ? Lol.

This sounds weird for a plugin this popular but I noticed this and I’m not continuing with Rank Math anymore. There is something wrong even with the snippets it shows in search results. Best of luck to the founder but I will not be using it. Thank you.

    Hello @soulfly1506,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Our plugin fetches the data from the GA & GSC properties that you have connected with our plugin. Even if your site is in maintenance mode or even on a local server, if you have connected the properties that have data, the data will be fetched from the properties and will be displayed in the Analytics dashboard.

You should make sure that you haven’t connected incorrect properties in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics to fix the issue. If there is no data for the site in connected GA & GSC properties, there is no way for our plugin to show you false stats because we don’t track or generate stats; we simply fetch the stats and turn them into meaningful graphs and insights.

Hope that clarifies your doubts. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need our assistance with anything else.
