• Hi,

I really like your plugin and I’ve been using it for over a year. However, I need to comment on a plugin problem.

I publish a literary magazine in Spanish language and we write in italics the names of works (books, movies, records, etc.). When I select the title of a work to do a search through the plugin and click on the “Insert” button, the italic format of the title of the work disappears. Then I must select it again and reformat it in italics. You can see the problem in a image in https://imgur.com/VcZfqC8

The plugin would be perfect if it respected the original format of the selected texts.

    Thank you very much,

    Jorge.

    Hi,

Tricky one, had a quick look and its not immediately obvious how to do that. A workaround might be to switch from ‘Visual’ editor to ‘Text’ editor then you can select/highlight just the words and not the surrounding <em> tags?

I look into changing the plugin behaviour in the next version.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Hello, Paul, thank you for your soon answer.

Yes, you’re right, the plugin works perfectly in the ‘Text’ editor. Italics remain. But in very long texts (we have a literary magazine, so …) is not easy to do this because many titles are mentioned and it’s difficult to find all of them in the ‘Text’ editor.

Hopefully you can solve this problem in a future version.

    Thanks again!
