This plugin performs a search in the database when a 404 URL is triggered, and doesn’t store the result to always provide up-to-date “similar post”.
Doing so also avoid to bloat the database with dozen of thousands of URL references.
If you experience high usage on your shared hosting, you might want to monitor your 404 URLS and setup static redirection for most triggered 404 URLs, for example with RankMath. I might include this feature in a future update, but for now this is out of the scope of this plugin.
