    Hello

The plugin is overwriting the theme WooCommerce templates, is there a way to disable that?

    Many thanks in advance

  • Hi there Laura,

Can you please elaborate on where you see that? Links and screenshots will be very helpful ??

I recommend https://snipboard.io/ for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply. It works with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

    Cheers!

    Hi Elvira K,
    Many thanks for your answer.

The theme that I am using comes with custom layouts for single product pages. After activating your plugin, I see a different html structure for the single product page, Stripe Gateway plugin is basically replacing the template of the single product page.

Please find below two screenshots to the single product page, with the Stripe plugin active and without the Stripe plugin active, to emphasize the layout difference:

    Many thanks in advance,

    Hey @isanea

How very odd! If I understand what you’re saying, the only difference between those two screenshots is one has the Stripe extension active and the other has it deactivated, no other changes?

I also notice that on one screenshot that there is Slider Revolution showing in the toolbar at the top – is that something that has been activated or deactivated?

    Thanks,

    Hi Dougaitken,

Yes the only difference between those two screenshots is the plugin STRIPE activate/deactivate.
Some days ago, I tried all the plugins one by one (activate & deactivate) to check where this problem is coming from and it appears correctly when I deactivate STRIPE only.

    Many thanks!

Oh dear, I’d not heard of this happening this way.

Can you let me know your thoughts about the “Slider Revolution” toolbar link showing and disappearing??

I’ve asked one of our developers their thoughts and they let me know that Stripe doesn’t overwrite templates “per se”, but says what they’re seeing in the screenshots looks like a broken gallery, rather than a different layout.

“It’s likely a JavaScript conflict, which prevents the gallery from being initialized.”

Can you take a look at your WooCommerce Status Report and let me know if everything (including theme) is up to date, please?

If you’re still having issues, I’d love to dig into this, please do reach out to us here and link back to this thread – https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket

    Hi @isanea

I haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread with replication steps.

    Thanks,
