The plugin is not blocking the files

  • The plugin is not blocking the files.
    # Under “File settings” the “Locked file types” option does not appear;
    # The “.htaccess” file is not uploaded.
    Could it be some permission error or incompatibility with another plugin?

    Data:
    – Ubuntu 16.04 – Nginx
    – WordPress 5.1
    – User Access Manager 2.1.12

  • I had the same problem. The last version, that seems to be working is 2.1.5

    I was able to find a workaround:
    – Install 2.1.5
    – Set your desired plugin settings
    – copy and save the .htaccess file from the uploads folder locally on your pc.
    – install the latest UAM version
    – drop the previously saved .htaccess file in your upload folder

    @gm_alex : The problem with the new versions seems to be, that no .htaccess file is created in the upload folder.
