The plugin is “invisible”

    Hi Support,

    I came across this plugin quite by accident while searching Google for: “how to export single page in wordpress”. The plugin is in the 8. place (first page) of the search results.

    Searching the WordPress directory with the keyword “export” the plugin “Single Post/Page Export (WXR)” comes up on page 37 of the search results, among plugins that have nothing to do with the search term. This way the plugin is “invisible”.

    The name of the plugin is awkward. A simple “Export Single Post Page” would be better.

    Thank you for writing in. Apologies for the late response. I was not subscribed to new topics.

    I understand your concern however, I am not sure how the algorithm works for the WordPress plugin directory. I know some of my other plugins only gain ‘traction’ when they have more installations.

    I will take your consideration though on the next release!
