• Assuming this isn’t an issue that has to do with the plugin itself I noticed that with the latest Firefox version the plugin back-end interface is completely broken making it impossible to do whatever action available. The buttons simply don’t work.
With Chrome it is working fine.

  • I do have the same issue with Chrome.
The BE UI is a wreck and has nothing in common with what we can see in the video

Same issue for me in Firefox. Works in Chrome.

    Hey everyone,

sorry for the late response here.

I’m not able to replicate the issue on my end, I can see the backend UI without any issue on my Firefox 85.0 (64-bit).

Please, check the browser console about errors showing up (see here how to). If some, please post there with a screenshot.

It seems that something blocks the resources (css and js) from Pixel Caffeine. The console should warns what and why.

    Let me know.

    Hope that can help you.

I fear there is some plugin that creates a conflict in some way, only in Firefox.

Please, try to deactivate all plugins and check the Pixel Caffeine admin page: if it will work without any problem, there is a plugin that created this issue, because it enqueues wrongly own JS/CSS assets in all WordPress dashboard.

If so, then activate all plugins back one by one, checking the pixel caffeine admin page, in order to discover which plugin created the issue.

You can do the same operation easily thanks to the Health Check tool if you want.

I did a test using health check on the live site.

Also I tested on a staging site where I actually deactivated all plugins (instead of using health check), and Twenty twenty-one as theme.

Still the same, so it doesn’t seem to be a plugin conflict.

    Thank you for checking.

I need a way to check the admin page of your installation, in order to see why firefox should block the pixel caffeine css.

Please, follow these steps in order to have a zip with the static HTML version of the settings page of Pixel Caffeine that you can share (without giving me sensible credentials):

    1. Go to the broken settings page of Pixel Caffeine in firefox
    2. Go to File > Save page as…
    3. Set the name (you can leave it as is), choose a location and make sure the “Format” option is set to “Web Page, complete”
    4. Save
    5. In the location chosen, you will have an HTML file and a folder (with the same name) with all the resources inside
    6. Zip both file and folder
    7. Post that zip here (you can use dropbox, google drive, or any sharing online services)
    8. If you can do this, you will help me a lot. Thanks.

    Thank you very much @orjansteffensen.

Unfortunately, it didn’t help. I can see the page very well both in Chrome and in Firefox ??

Do you have any additional extensions in Firefox? Are you using some AdBlocker and/or anti-virus/firewall add-on? Which version of Firefox are you using?

Hello, for me it got fixed when I turned off my adblock. It seems to block off the plugin’s css apparently.

Hi, I can confirm that it’s because of adblocker. uBlock on my part.

And apologies Antonino, I didn’t see your reply and question a month ago.

I also can confirm it was the adblocker (i use Ublock Origin too), nice catch, i never even thought about that. Sorry.
