    The plugin installed but not activated showing that “The plugin has not a valid header”.

    I had the same issue. But I found that it was due to another plugin.
    Activating wordpress debug i got this msg:
    Undefined variable: _SESSION in /var/www/my.wordpreess.site/wp-content/plugins/custom-database-applications-by-caspio/classes/class-datapage-loader.php on line 4

    I deactivated the Casio plugin, then the Content Control plugin was able to activate itself.

    @hindibits, @vdrossa – First you can get around it and activate fine by going to the All Plugins page instead. This has been confirmed by 100% of users who reported this so far.

    Can you tell me what hosting your using? Had a suggestion this may happen more often on a very specific host and want to see if that is the case here as well.
