it is impossible to link an authorization point
    The plugin cannot be used.

    Hi

Could you please confirm us that you setup the menu you want in the plugin settings?

You have to select the menu(s) on “Select a menu to add login item”.

Also, can you share a URL so we can check it?

    Thanks,
    Nahuai

    Hi again.

Could you please answer my questions?
We would be happy to help you to make the plugin work in your WordPress installation, but we need more info for it.

Also I don’t think it’s fair to let 1-star review before giving us the chance to understand the problem and help you with it.

    Looking forward to your answer.
    Best,
    Nahuai

    Hello!
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to test your plugin.
I already spent half a day on it trying to make it work.
I solved the problem a long time ago with the help of another plugin (Login / Signup Popup), which immediately worked fine, and I did not have to contact its developers for this.
One star is the only true rating for a plugin that just doesn’t work. This is not some small thing that can be improved, but without which you can work.
It just doesn’t work! Other people will also take the time, instead of taking another plugin and solving their problem.
Test your products before you publish and you will be fine!

    Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

I can understand your frustration but also I’d like that you understand that the plugin is tested and working fine on several installations (see active installs and other reviews).

The tricky part is that there are millions of combinations of themes and plugins that can lead to different behavior.

We would really like to know your scenario to test it and fix it if there is a specific issue.

Could you please tell us your theme and plugins?
You can copy/paste a system log if you want (you can get it in Tools > Site Health >Site Health Info)

    Thanks,
    Nahuai

    Hello!
I understand that the plugin might work fine somewhere.
Specifically, it did not work for me, and I wasted a lot of time.
At the same time, other plugins that I install every day, for some reason, always work. This distinguishes good work from bad.
Okay, I used a regular Ambition Version: 1.7 theme, and a regular WordPress menu. There was a lot of menu (4-6), 2 levels.
The site used Elementor and many add-ons to it.
Problem – on the settings page of your plugin there is a field where menus are displayed (where to add the Login button).
So in this field there was not one of my menus at all. Two items were displayed there, it is not clear where they came from, there were no such items in my menu.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info.

Are you creating the menus with Elementor?

    Thread Starter mclaudewp

    (@mclaudewp)

I created the menu like a regular WordPress menu.
This is a normal, standard menu (Appearance / Menu).
But the display of the menu on the site, yes, with the help of the Elementor block.
But! The error in the plugin happened already in its Admin, so I don’t think that it is somehow related to Elementor.

    Hi,

Under “Select a menu to add login item” you will find the menu areas that are created by the theme (usually, primary/secondary.. not the name of the menu you want to display).

If you are using Elementor to create a custom header it’s overriding the theme native locations so it won’t work. We will now explain it in the FAQ section, so it’s more clear.

I’m sorry it didn’t work for you, but we were not claiming support to Elementor customs headers o footers.

I guess you made your mind and don’t want to change your rate, but I hope that in the future you open a support ticket first and give the developers the chance to help you.

In any case, thanks for the info.

Yes! This is most likely the problem, since Elementor does not use standard menu areas, only their names!
It’s nice that you take a responsible approach and try to improve your product.
    Changed the rating!
