The plugin does not have a valid header

  • Have just installed this plugin and when I try to activate it I get a blank page with this message only
    “The plugin does not have a valid header.”

    I just will not Activate.

    I am on WP 5.2.2 on IIS

  • I just ran into this issue. I had no luck activating from the add new plugin page, but when I went to the installed plugins page and tried from there, the plugin activated.

    I am on 5.2.2 on IIS (Server 2012 R2, PHP 7.1.7)
