The plugin does not have a valid header

    If i wanna install the plugin of ten etsy shop on my site i can’t. i get the following message: “The plugin does not have a valid header”.

    what should i do?

  • I had this problem also, it happened when I tried to activate from the same screen when you install from your dashboard.

    The fix for me was to install the plugin, and after I got the message, I went to the plugins page and clicked Activate

    Working for me fine now, but I hope this does get fixed!

    Just adding my 2 cents, this was also a problem for me. Mchelles’ workaround works.

    This will be corrected in the next version this week.

    You mentioned it would be corrected in the next version that week, but that was 2 and a half months ago. The last update was 11 months ago. Did you not get around to updating for some reason?

    And deleting the trunk folder got it to seemingly work for me. It seemed to be a copy of everything of the plugin’s root, and since there was another header there, it was messing things up.
